Tom Izzo Announces Injury Update For Joshua Langford
College basketball is only a few weeks away from tipping off as Michigan State battles Kentucky in the State Farm Champions Classic. When the two prestigious programs take the court, the Spartans will be without star guard Joshua Langford.
Langford averaged 15.0 points and 2.3 assists per game for Michigan State during the 2018-19 season. His year was cut short due to a foot injury that required surgery.
Michigan State enters this fall with a loaded roster in large part because several players from last season's Final Four roster decided to return. However, the team will have to find ways to win without Langford.
Tom Izzo told the media today that Langford will be out until at least January.
It's a tough blow for the Spartans, but as long as they have Langford healthy in time for the NCAA Tournament, they'll be fine.
The hope is that Langford's foot injury doesn't plague him for the entire season.

Despite not having Langford for the first few months of the season, the Spartans should remain among the top teams in the nation.
Cassius Winston and Xavier Tillman form one of the best duos in college basketball. Once Langford is able to join the mix, the sky's the limit for Michigan State.
As noted, Monday's WWE RAW season premiere episode saw Brock Lesnar destroy Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik in the opening segment of the show. WWE has announced a storyline update on the Mysterios, noting that
